Overlooking the expansive bay, the Just Pure Bistro is uniquely positioned to offer you an uninterrupted, exceptional view. Combined with the finest, freshest ingredients and innovative recipes created in our kitchen, together with a glass (or two!) of wine from one of the excellent local Wine Estates within the Overberg Region, we offer a memorable experience.

We think that we have created something unique, but at the same time familiar and welcoming. The food is hearty, well-made food with the emphasis on seasonal flavour. Our aim is to keep our food simple, but delicous.

Our organic fair-trade coffee is mellow and aromatically complex with full body, moderate acidity and nutty, earthy flavours. The Bistro coffee has gained a reputation for its exquisite taste. Our baristas are well trained to achieve a milk texture that has become a Just Pure Bistro signature. We serve a range of loose leaf teas in proper tea pots, freshly pressed juices made to order, and delicious old fashioned homemade ice cream milkshakes.

The Bistro is a daytime eatery serving breakfasts, lunch and all day fare and now serving dinner from Wednesday to Saturday evenings, September to April. The dinner menu offers a delicious selection of interesting and innovative dishes based on what is seasonal and available. This keeps it interesting as you may find a new addition to the menu daily. Firm favourites that have now become signature dishes, include Beef / Venison Fillet Medallions with sauce Diane, Duck & Litchi Curry, Provencal Fish Stew, Pan-fried Linefish of the day with Citrus sauce and always an interesting vegetarian option such as our now famous Moroccan Chickpea, Lentil & Spinach Stew served with brown Basmati Rice and sambals. To compliment each course, our carefully selected winelist offers award-winning wines, all from local wine estates and the tempting selection of desserts are difficult to resist.

We source our ingredients with care, using only the freshest produce, organic where possible, including free range eggs and poultry, fragrant herbs, artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, fruit and vegetables from local and regional farmers and suppliers. We don't believe in artificial preservatives, flavourings, hormones and antibiotics or additives. We offer freshly baked delectable cakes and bakes, artisan breads and flaky butter croissants. All our food is freshly prepared on the premises.

Also available is a selection of homemade pantry items, which include jams, preserves, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, vinaigrettes, chocolates and many other interesting and unusual items.
