World Cancer Day is officially taking place every year on the 4th of February, and on this day, the entire world is urged to unite together in the fight against the global cancer epidemic.

The theme chosen for World Cancer Day 2012 is “Together we are stronger”. Not sure how you can help? The first, and most important thing you can do is to be informed about the choices you and your loved ones make.

The most effective weapon against cancer = knowledge. Considering that one in four individuals may be affected by the disease during their lifetime, it is essential to realise how powerful knowledge is in terms of risk reduction, prevention and early detection.

Christmas is officially less than a month away!! If that makes you nervous, I can assure you – you are not the only one!

We all have our own traditions and ways of doing things over the Festive Season. A special time when people come together and enjoy some of the best things in this life – good food and good company! And if you are spending it in this beautiful country of ours, you will also enjoy long and glorious days of Summer!
