MASSAGE DURING PREGNANCY – A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

 Massage therapy holds true to a kind of organic healing that is as old as human kind. It is simply one of the most profound and natural ways for human beings to be soothed of anything from poor blood circulation to reducing pain. It’s definitely also very beneficial to expecting mothers who may be worried or anxious about labour and motherhood. I felt that the massage allowed my mind to unite in consciousness with my baby so that awesome self-realisation can take place. What a great investment in bonding with my baby, escaping the humdrum of daily life, and focusing on my pregnancy for a while…

Walking into Goji Spa, the energy is very peaceful and relaxing. The wonderful aroma takes you away to another place. The atmosphere immediately brings you into calmness and lets you relax the way you should.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming and makes me feel super comfortable. I received my wonderful massage from a knowledgeable and kind therapist, Stephanie. She is sweet and is a genuinely warm and caring person. In addition, she has magical masseuse hands and her approach to the prenatal massage is slow and mindful. Her strokes were gentle and soothing. The combination of music, oil, hot rocks, the heated blanket and heater, and the great technique was heavenly. A truly luxurious winter-warming spa treatment!

Stephanie melted away my tension, relieved my sciatic aches and pains and her magical hands did wonders for me overall! Massage decreases stress and promotes relaxation, helping one cope with the discomforts of pregnancy. Carrying a baby inside you puts a lot of stress on your back, neck and shoulders. Prenatal massages are tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies.

This was the perfect fix for my pregnancy aches and pains. The experience was pure bliss and it felt great knowing that my baby is happy too due to me feeling amazing. I would recommend anyone who is pregnant and in need of some exquisite pampering to take care of themselves and their unborn child by getting a few prenatal massages. Wish I had started sooner, but I’ll definitely be back for another session or two before the birth and I’ll relieve my sciatic pain at home by applying Just Pure Barrier Balm to my hips and thighs. This is also great to prevent stretch marks!
